On this page

The Marketing menu holds the tools Bangladeshi online sellers use every day. Some depend on your plan; if a tool is not included you see a page saying so.

Coupons

Marketing › Coupons: create a code like EID10 and share it in your Facebook posts.

  1. Click New coupon. Type the Code.
  2. Choose the Type: Percent off, Fixed amount off (Tk) or Free delivery, and the Discount (percent or Tk). For a percent coupon you can set a Maximum discount (Tk).
  3. Optional limits: Minimum order (Tk), Uses per customer (counted by phone number), Total uses, Starts on and Ends on.
  4. Keep Active ticked and save.

The list shows how many times each code was Used and the Discount given. Deactivate a code to stop it at once.

Landing pages for ads

A landing page is a one-product campaign page with the order form built in: very common for Facebook and TikTok ads, because the customer orders without leaving the page.

  1. Marketing › Landing pages › New landing page.
  2. Set the Title, the Web address, the Product, the Headline, an Offer price (Tk) if it differs from the normal price, and tick Free delivery if you offer it.
  3. Build the page from sections (Add section, Move up / Move down, Remove): hero, benefits, image + text, video (YouTube or Facebook link), countdown (Offer ends at), real reviews, FAQ, text, trust badges, and exactly one order form.
  4. Tick Published and click Save landing page. Click Open page to copy its link into your ad.

The list shows each page's Views, Orders, Sales and Conversion (cancelled orders and bots are left out). Orders from a landing page carry the source Landing page in the order list.

Facebook Pixel, Conversions API and other tags

Marketing › Pixels & product feeds connects your store to ad platforms.

  • Tracking: paste your Facebook Pixel ID, Google Analytics 4 ID, Google Tag Manager ID and/or TikTok Pixel ID and click Save. The store then reports page views, add-to-cart, checkout and purchases.
  • Facebook Conversions API: paste an Access token (in Facebook Events Manager: your pixel › Settings › Conversions API › Generate access token). Purchases are then also sent from the server, so Facebook still counts them when the browser blocks the pixel. The token is stored encrypted; Token saved shows it is set.

Product feeds

On the same page, Product feeds gives two links:

  • Facebook / Instagram catalogue (CSV): in Facebook Commerce Manager, Catalogue › Data sources › Data feed › Scheduled feed.
  • Google Merchant Center (XML): Products › Feeds › Scheduled fetch.

They list every in-stock variant with photo, price and link, and refresh every hour, so your catalogue ads and Instagram shop stay in step with your stock.

Reviews

Reviews come only from customers whose order was delivered: they can rate their items from their order tracking page. Nothing is shown until you approve it, and EcomDesk never makes up reviews.

In Marketing › Reviews: Approve or Reject each review, and Reply (shown under the review). Approved reviews show on the product page, on landing pages and in a home page Customer reviews section, marked Verified buyer.

Abandoned checkouts and SMS

When a shopper types their mobile number at checkout and leaves without ordering, they appear in Marketing › Abandoned checkouts with their cart and when they left.

  • Call them, or click Send reminder SMS for one shopper.
  • Turn on the automatic reminder: once a day, shoppers who left 1–24 hours ago get one SMS with a link back to their cart (at most 50 a day, one reminder per shopper).

The page tells you how many shoppers ordered after a reminder. SMS are billed per message.

Ad spend and profit

Marketing › Ad spend & profit answers did my ads pay for themselves?

  1. Click Add ad spend and enter the Date, Platform (Facebook, TikTok…), Campaign, Amount (Tk) and a Note. Enter it daily or per campaign from your ads manager.
  2. The table shows per day: Online revenue (delivered), Product cost, Courier fees, Ad spend, Profit after ads (revenue − product cost − courier fees − ad spend) and ROAS (revenue for every ৳1 of ads).
