Set up your store

Everything customers see in your store is set under Online store in the sidebar. Owners, managers and content editors can change the design; only the owner connects a domain.

Theme and look

Go to Online store › Theme & look (the page is called Store design).

1. Theme: pick Fashion, Minimal or Gadget & grocery. The theme sets the layout and fonts; your products and pages stay the same when you switch.
2. Brand colour and Accent colour (optional): used for buttons, links and the header.
3. Logo & text: upload your Logo and a Favicon (small square icon) for the browser tab, and write a short Tagline, for example Handwoven sarees from Tangail.
4. Announcement bar: one line at the top of every page, for example Free delivery in Dhaka over ৳2000. Leave it empty to hide it.
5. Social links: your Facebook page, Instagram, YouTube and so on, shown in the footer.
6. Search engines (SEO): Shop title in Google and Shop description in Google.
7. Click Save design, then Open your shop in a new tab to check it.

Home page

Online store › Home page lists the blocks of your home page from top to bottom.

• With no sections, the store shows a default layout (new arrivals, categories, best sellers, trust badges). Click Start from the default layout to get those as editable sections.
• To add one, choose a Section type and click Add section:
  • Hero slider: big photos with a heading, small text and a button (Button text, Button link). Click Add slide for more.
  • Category grid: tiles for your categories (none ticked = your menu categories).
  • Product row: a row of products. Under Products to show pick Newest, Featured, Best sellers, On sale, A collection or A category, and How many.
  • Banner, Image + text: a photo with a message and a button.
  • Customer reviews: shows real approved reviews only.
  • FAQ: questions and answers (Add question).
  • Text: free text in markdown.
  • Trust badges: small icons such as Cash on delivery, Easy return (Add badge).
• Use Move up / Move down to reorder, Hide / Show to switch a section off without deleting it, Edit and Delete.
• Click Preview the shop to see the result.

A section marked Not shown: check its settings has something missing, for example a product row whose collection is empty.

Collections

A collection is a group of products with its own page, such as Eid collection or Under ৳999. Go to Online store › Collections and click New collection.

• Name * and Name in Bangla, a Description and a Photo. The Web address (slug) is made from the name when empty.
• Choose how products get in:
  • Pick products: search and add them by hand.
  • Automatic (rules): products In category, that Has tag, that are On sale (has a compare-at price), or Added in the last (days). New products that match join by themselves.
• Active (shown in the shop) and Sort order. Click Save collection.

Show a collection on the home page with a Product row set to A collection, or link to it from a menu (/collections/<slug>).

Pages and menus

Online store › Pages & menus holds your fixed pages and the header and footer links.

1. Click New page. Write the Title * and Title in Bangla, the Text (markdown) and Text in Bangla (markdown).
2. Tick Published and, if you want, Link in the footer. Click Save page.
3. Under Menus, set the Header menu and Footer menu: Add link, type a Label and a link. Links start with / for a page of your shop (/category/saree, /collections/eid, /pages/about) or https:// for another site. Click Save menus.

Own domain

Open your store at your own address, like www.yourshop.com, in Online store › Domain (owner only). If your plan does not include it you see Own domain is not part of your plan.

1. Type Your domain and click Save.
2. The page shows a record to add: Type, Name / host and Value / points to. Add it at your domain provider and remove other A / CNAME records for the same name.
3. Come back and click Check. DNS changes can take up to a few hours. When it says Your domain points to us. It is connected., JonakiSoft sets up the secure (https) certificate.

Your store keeps working at /shop/<your-shop> as well.
